Thanks, Anty. This was a wild bird flitting among the large animal cages at the Phoenix Zoo. The large animals were sleeping and being boring photographic subjects (mid-day), but this little character was hopping all over. I have no idea what kind of bird it is (I'm terrible with small-bird identification).

Looks like a female Sparrow to me.
Its pretty amazing how much wild life you miss when you are photographing animals in a zoo. And most of the time the birds are pretty much used to humans, so they arent too skittish.
