Yoiks! From the bright red colour of their feet, I'd say they may be getting frostbite!

A bit more useless trivia.... Birds have a unique sustem in their legs. The veins and such near the tops of their legs have an intertwining placement that actually works like wrapping warming coils around the returning bolld vessels. So in essence yeah the bottom of their webbed or clawed feet are cold, but have minimal blood supply. It is motsly a bit of tough skin and cartilage. Where it is most important they have their internal warming system. Really a great engineering system that I wish we as people had.
Still looks cold. Great shot.
