I got my new toy today! A Fuji IS-1. It's claim to fame (and the reason I bought it is because it is Infrared sensitive.
So... here are my experiment photos! This one is straight from the camera... no filters.

This one is with the IR Cut filter in place. It blocks the Infrared light, followed by the one taken with the IR filter in place, followed by the BW conversion of the IR photo!

Thanks, ann. I'll check it out!
These were just some grab shots in the back yard. I love how the 'unfiltered' pics look like what my ex-husband used to see... he was colorblind and saw all green as brown. Blue was one of the only colors he could actually see. hahaha

Beautiful picture that IR BW Convert...Too easy! I want you to fight the eBay crowd for your filter, load the film in the dark, figure out ASA/Development time/agitation scheme-fight dust-take time off work to get into the darkroom- only to have the product discontinued and you have to start all over again.
Gosh-this kind of thing just tears me up. I love your photo…I just can’t force myself to take the technical leap…I still am fighting tooth/nail to stay OFF the PC and play with the old gear. Still, when I see photos such as this it sure is tempting!!!
Oh, and have fun with your new toy!!

^^ He's bitter!
Smashing success here, Jeanette. Though I'm also one of the IR devout darkroom fumblers, can't argue that this is a lovely result. I'm glad it's worked out so well for you!
