I took this over a year ago at the meet-up. I'm going through some photos to set up the gallery on my site and really like this one so thought I'd post it.

I agree. I am enjoying the POV. The lighting is also very pretty here - was this their own lighting, or did you toy with it a bit to get this color?

You have every reason to be liking this one! It is good. Different from most, colourwise as well as from the POV you chose and the proximity you had when you took it.

Sabine is mad a the people of the London Eye. When she was visiting with Tony's (you know: tempra -> anyone going to call him over?) family in Oxford last year in summer, she and her friend went into London one day, too, and wanted to go on the London Eye. Adult price was totally unaffordable for them. So they played their "We're under 16"-card ... with the result that they were told, children under 16 were not allowed on the London Eye on their own without an adult accompanying them. Grrr!

I've never been on it myself. I'm not sure if I wanted to as I think the views would be boring.

As for colour, I forget to change the white balance setting - but glad I did. :blush:

[Heehee, I sent him one too. I thought I had done so previously, but can't be certain. When we last chatted, he was super super busy with work and courses etc.]

I've been on the Eye. It's great for a tourist, to have nice long views of the area. It's not great for taking pictures on a sunny day, though, as when I was in a 'sunny' capsule, there were so many reflections in the glass of the other occupants it was very hard to get any kind of decent shot.
