That's what I love about clouds in landscape photography, they can change the 'same old' scenes into something completely different.

We had hoped for a nice view towards the northwest coast of Tenerife from El Teide, but somehow our view got ... erm ... blocked.

This was an amazing cloud. It was huge and bolts of lightning would appear inside the thunderhead. I was very sick at the time but managed to grab a couple snaps of it.
