Shot a blues concert here in Owen Sound last night - working on the shots this morning in the new Lightroom. Wowee Zowee. Nice stuff in there.

Here's one of the performers - Erin McCallum. She rocked the house. Wow.

Nice shot, K. Were you close or were you using a telephoto? Since we have similar camera bodies, I'd also be curious about the ISO.

400 ISO. EF 70-300 DO IS USM Canon lens. 125mm, flashed. Processed in Lr3 beta.

I was in the wings of the stage. About 25 feet away from her.

I didn't use a tripod but had one of those gorilla pods to brace the thing against my body. It really helps when the lens is extended at all. I use it in low light situations.

Nice shot! :) I love that the keyboardist is looking right at him. It must be such a pleasure for you, watching him!

Excellent shots!

(Interesting to hear you using the gorillapod against your body. Great idea. I love the 'pods for being able to stabilize a shot in dark conditions)
