it is one of those days that i got into the mood to play around.

about 3 this morning this idea popped into the head.:batterup:

in another thread someone asked about what an unalter sx-70 manipulation looked liked , so i am posting this to show what the orginal file looked liked. This image is really an HDR file, made from 5 exposures and then toned mapped.

we always have flowers (or so it seems )around the art center and i am always drawned to sunflowers so i took this one day in the light room of the darkroom.

they both look better larger, i had to downsize a great deal as they are also basically tiff 16bit files.

here is the manipulated version.

Good morning, ann!! Don't you just love it when stuff pops into your head when 'normal' people are sleeping??? :lol:

It certainly paid off! Thanks for getting up! I LOVE this manipulation. It's just beyond cool! :love::love:

however, perhaps the next time i get one of these 3am ideas i might try to get up and do it then. But don't hold your breath.

However, when i do have these moments of insominia i spend a lot of the time thinking about photography, beats counting sheep.
