oh, ps.

IMHO, I think the software for fuji sucks. they really should be ashamed of themselves.
Just upgrade your photoshop to handle the raw files and you should be fine.

Congrats on the new camera!! I know you've been thinking and studying on this for a loooong time now.

Looking forward to seeing some very interesting IR stuff from this baby. New toys are always good.

I can open Raw files in my PaintShopPro, so no problems there! And I've already been eyeing up some pines over by the golf course. I'll probably just shoot a bunch of different things just to see how certain situations and items 'look'. hehehehe!!! (Do we have a 'mad scientist' emoticon???) Bwhahahaha!!!

Yeah, terri, you and ann both know I've been yearning after this for quite some time. I was talking to Bill about it, and he finally just said to me... why are you waiting on this? Just DO IT!!! (I think he may have been getting sick of hearing me whine.) :Brad: Oops... wrong wine. haha

Thanks, Miss Mia! :goodvibes:

I was puzzled by the Fuji registration thing that was mentioned there - did you really have to do that? I know the authorities are twitchy about photographers these days, but 'positive vetting'?

You know, I did not have to do it. But i did see the form on the Fuji website when I was investigating the camera. It basically wants to plug you into being either a student (whereby you need to provide proof of your status and the classes you are taking) or a pro photographer (and provide the name of your business). Since I am neither of these, I was not looking forward to the form.
I am not sure if I did not have to fill out the form because this is a re-furb, or if someone will contact me, or what. I still have not heard when it will ship. I'll keep everyone posted on what hoops I'll have to jump through! hahaha :whip:

On the positive side... I had been feeling a wee bit uncertain about this purchase, but I had gotten pretty positive 'spiritual feedback' about it, so I took the plunge when I purchased it. Well, today, we got a call from the CPA and we have more than enough money coming back to cover the costs of it! Now that's a blessing! :sun:
