I'll bet you were wishing you could have gotten in there with your new macro lens! :)

Oooo, I like the last: the blue shadow, blue sky, and otherwise light brown/yellowish desert ... that was VERY low light. Lovely.

I keep hoping that my son will have to go on excursions to some of "your areas" eventually in the course of his geology studies, and then he might even ... maybe??? ... take his old mother along one day???? ;) ;) ;)

Thank you!

I wish I had more than a few minutes there. We were only able to walk one trail and it was 40 degrees and a constant wind. Did I mention that we were just going out for lunch and I was not dressed for this.

Thanks Corinna! I hope you can make it over here too! I think you would be surprised at how much green you can find in the desert. :big grin:

Thank you Brad! It was a beautiful spot. I'm trying to plan a trip back up there in the next couple weeks.

I'm a sucker for a deep blue shadow. I especially love the 2nd one...is this how it came to be called Blue Mesa Trail, I wonder? All those shadows running through the gullies...I imagine it's quite beautiful from an elevated view. Gorgeous!

So you're going back for some more? I'm already looking forward to the pictures! :goodvibes:

Thank you Terri! I'm not sure why they named it Blue Mesa Trial, but I'll be sure to find out more info when I go back there. I hope to go within the next month. Work has been crazy and one of my employee's resigned on Friday so my work load just increased.

Very true, but I'm already doing two jobs and now add a third one. I'm the only one left in the office qualified to handle her accounts. I am happy to be employed right now. :goodvibes:
