What is this world comming to?

I got a puppy today...less than ten hours after getting her some dumb bitch comes crawling out of the wood work and tried saying I stole her dog.

I was walking her home and this woman pulls up in a minivan and asks, "What kind of dog is that?" I reply "It's a pit bull". She then sais "Can I see it?" My fiancée picks her up and shows the woman, She glances at her head and neck and sais" That's my dog, I paid for her!"

Well long story short we went round and round at the cop shop, truth came out...She had infact bought the dog as a gift for her friend, who after a few months was forced to move some place where he could not take her. He turned her over to the Friends of Streys giving them legal custody of the dog who in turn adopted her out to me, giving me legal custody of the dog.

She may have bought it, but the fact she gave it away and it was turned over to Friends of Streys, she had no right to her and she had to hand over the paperwork for her.


So ....I have a new puppy

Ok it has been a while since I posted a story from my past..... I had a little chiuawa (can't spell it, so call it a taco bell dog) this long before they became popular. I was walking from my home to where my sister lived a block away. A lady came racing out her front door and started yelling at me. She claimed my dog was the father of her dogs puppies. I had to sit on the curb I was laughing so hard. Being in Provo Utah (Happy Valley central of Mormondom) you would think she knew about the birds and bees. I stopped in my laughter to repond to her accusations. I said," Now that is a feat for nature. My dog is a spayed female." She huffed back into her house. I never saw her outside again.

Lol that's kinda funny, I understand the irritation that could have been. I actually dislike it when people are so irresponsable that they let their unfixed female get loose and then start blaminig in on other people, but thankfully you hgad the added element of her being not only a female but a fixed female to bring humor to it.

Well....as of right now we are thinking Missey, but I think that may get changed if we find something she responds to.

Yeah she is.

As for her loving home, I was chosen the moment this dog came into the possesion of the Frends of Streys representitive. With the stigma surrounding the breed the FoS reps around here don't take a wait and see who wants them approach, they go right out and start talking to people they know will take care of them.....on top of that she owed me a puppy.
