Made some bug shots these last weeks, but i just never made the time to proces them. And today i did, so here are some bug shots:

#2 and the shots of the grasshopper are great! I still struggle with getting good macro shots. Your shots are so full of detail!

The simplicity of this one I really enjoy. And the texture in what I think is a chair back (?), and the strong diagonal composition are particularly lovely. I like its over all high key feel.

Not that I didn't like the others, but this one really makes me smile.

The detail is probably due to holding the camera very still and using a flash. So its pretty much just doing alot of macro shooting and getting better at it. The flash will do the rest (well, pretty much).
And these were shot with the Sigma 105 2.8 macro. Its a great lens, especially when you look at the price. And i was as close as the lens could get me, dont remember how close that is, but it works. And then i cropped it a bit, which works very well when you have a 15megapixel picture to crop.
Oh, and its a flower basket were its sitting on :)
