Well strictly speaking, I should be Chris of Stoke-on-Trent, but as I've not lived there now in 30 years, I felt I needed a more appropriate handle. Following 9 years in the Royal Air Force, I joined large UK blue chip operating in the aerospace industry, who happen to have a presence in the Middle East. After a number of years working for them in the NorthWest of England, I was offered a position in Riyadh as what is now IT Projects Manager and I'm now into my 10th year out here. The name just ended up being a play on the 'Lawrence of Arabia' thing.
