Lovely old farm situated in a field of white

It's interesting how there are 3 distinct levels to the image, the light lower level, the dark middle level, and the half-and-half level of the dark and light clouds. The building on the right adds some more visual interest as my eye circles around the shot. Nicely done.

I like it. The canola in the foreground (I assume it's canola) makes the B&W conversion look like a faux IR, which is weird and interesting. I just wish the building was a bit more visible.

I think it needs more separation from the trees in the background. It probably looks perfect in colour, but in B&W only the roof is clearly defined. Almost all of the detail on the side of the building(s) is lost here. In fact, upon closer inspection, I've just discovered a nice staircase that I hadn't even seen before. Then again, if this was your creative choice, disregard all of the above :) It's a very nice image with or without building detail.

^^^ Your monitor might be a bit dark. The staircase is clearly visible on my Mac monitor and in fact the railing of the staircase is reflecting the sunlight, making it stand out

Guilty as charged  My old, tired eyes need a monitor a bit on the dark side.

Well i did calibrate my monitor last week based on the fact that some of my images being abit dark and soft. I made numorus photo's based on the same shot but each time adjusting my monitor when i got the reply too dark or too soft. I finally got it to the point of everything being visible and sharp

Everything is seen, but I think it would be better if the building was dodged to lighten it up. I think it would counter-balance the 'striped' effect just enough to give you eye someplace to stop at that level.
