MEMBER'S CHOICE PHOTO CONTEST, July 1-15 '09 - VOTING Thread

This is the nomination thread for the biweekly photo contest, for pictures posted on the forum from July 1st to July 15th, 2009 inclusive. Members may nominate up to three photographs posted by others during this time period. You can’t nominate your own images. If a photograph has already been nominated, please don’t nominate it again as it will already be on the list. And if you nominate a shot posted outside of the applicable time period, it will be removed.

To nominate a photo, please add it to this thread, and include
-the thread title from where the image was originally posted;
-the name of the photograph (if there was one posted); and
-the name of the photographer

On the evening of July 18th a voting poll will be added to this thread, so that you can see the nominated images in the same thread as you will be voting. Voting will remain open for 4 days after the poll is posted.

What a great selection of photographs have already been nominated!

As usual, we extend the nominations for a few days so that images posted near the end of the contest period have a chance to get nominated. So in the event you want to nominate a photo originally posted between July 1 and July 15, 2009, you have until July 18, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Savings Time (ie GMT -5 hours). I'll post the poll a few hours after that.
