Posting photos

I'm not sure if this is the right place, but it looked like it might be a good place to put it. If not, thanks for moving it for me!!! :love:

I am not really understanding how precisely to size my photos so they appear inline at some viewable size. It seems that every site is different, so what works elsewhere is not really working the same for me here!

What dpi do I adjust to & what size to make things better? :confused:

Actually, this forum is not clearly marked, it's supposed to be General Discussion and Q&A for the digital forum - so I'll repair that. :)

In the meantime, I think there is a system default for what size jpegs will be accepted - but offhand I don't know what it is. :p If there is nothing specific mentioned under the basic "FAQ's" then maybe someone else can weigh in here.

I'll just keep putting them up like I have been. I would like to know how to do it like everyone else, but alas... :meh: it just may be one of those things!

Others are uploading the pictures to a 3rd party site and then posting a link. You are using the forums free hosting. At least I think that is what you are talking about.
